  • Orders & Payments

  • We collect sales or use taxes for purchases in certain states as required by law. For states imposing sales or use taxes, your purchase is subject to tax unless it is specifically exempt from taxation. Your purchase is not exempt merely because it was made over the Internet. Many states require purchasers to file a sales/use tax return at the end of the year reporting all taxable purchases that were not taxed and to pay tax on those purchases. It is possible that you may be responsible for the payment of state sales/use taxes on your orders, even though we are not required to collect sales/use taxes from you. In these situations, our listing of $0 tax at time of order does not mean that you are not responsible for the payment of taxes on the order. Rather, it means that we are not required to collect sales/use tax at the time of the order on your behalf. It is your responsibility as the purchaser to pay sales/use taxes.   • We may be required by law to provide the state tax authority with a report of the total amount of all your purchases at the end of the year. Additional information on your tax reporting obligations are available at the state taxing authority's website. For Oklahoma, Kentucky, South Dakota, and Tennessee purchases, use taxes may be reported and paid on your individual income tax return or by filing a consumer use tax return. For Oklahoma, the forms and instructions are available at www.tax.ok.gov. Forms and instructions for the other states are available at the state taxing authority's website.

  • Most orders are processed and are shipped within 2 business days of receipt of your order.

    For Standard Shipping, allow 6 to 8 business days from when the package leaves our warehouse. We ship to AK and HI for no additional charge — please expect delivery in 8-12 business days.

    In addition to our regular delivery, 3-Day Delivery* is available for an additional $6.00 per address. 3-Day Delivery is not available for PO Box, APO or FPO addresses, or on orders of products that ship direct from vendors. 3-Day Delivery cannot ship outside the US, with the exception of Puerto Rico.

    Orders will be shipped and delivered within 3 days from when it leaves our warehouse. Note: Order processing in the warehouse can take up to 36 hours.

    Orders placed after 3:15 p.m. EST will be considered next business day.

  • If you have a flyer or magazine advertisement, enter the item number into the search box in the upper right corner of the website and click Search. After you select the size, color and quantity you'd like, click on the Add to Cart button. To order additional items, just enter the next item number into the Search box. When you’re finished, click the Checkout button or the Cart icon in the upper right corner of the page to start the simple checkout process.

    You can also order by phone by calling our order line at 1-800-742-2263. These operators are only able to take orders and cannot provide any other customer information. Your call is always welcome 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  • When shopping online, click on the item you want in order to select a color, size, and quantity. Then click the Add to Cart button. Once you have selected all of the items you want, click the Checkout button or the Cart icon in the upper right corner of the page to start the simple checkout process. If you get stuck, you can always call us toll-free at 1-800-217-2916 and one of our order desk specialists will be glad to help. This line is available Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET.

  • Gift coupons and gift cards are not redeemable online at this time. To pay for your order with a gift coupon or gift card, please call us toll-free at 1-800-217-2916, Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET

  • Your order will be processed within 2 business days. You will receive email updates from Customer Service when your order ships or if the status of your order changes.

  • We use a secure server to protect your order and personal information. This means that all information such as name, address and your credit card number entered in the checkout section of our online store is encrypted with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). SSL technology is an industry-standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions.

    Our web server is stable and secure, so you can shop via the web without worry and without risk. We encrypt all of your personal information including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.

  • We will charge your card for merchandise as it is ticketed and ready to ship.

  • We accept Visa, American Express, MasterCard, Discover, and the Haband Credit Card. If you don’t have a Haband card, click here to apply today and receive a discount off your first order.

    We also accept Credit Cards from our family of brands: Appleseeds, Bedford Fair, Blair, Gold Violin, Norm Thompson, Old Pueblo Traders, Sahalie, Solutions, The Tog Shop, and Wintersilks.

    If you prefer to mail your order in, we accept checks and money orders in addition to all of the major credit cards.

  • When you register with Haband we will securely store your personal information so that you do not need to re-enter it each time you order. We’ll store your order history so that you can refer back to sizes and colors that you've purchased in the past and notify you by e-mail whenever we receive an order, ship an order or receive a return from you. To ensure our emails continue to reach your inbox, please add our email address to your address book.

  • Returns & Exchanges

  • Step 1.
    Complete the Return/Exchange Form included with your packaging. If you don't have the Return/Exchange Form, just be sure to include your name, address and customer number, along with instructions whether to exchange the item or refund the merchandise purchase price in the original form of payment.
    Step 2.
    Detach and enclose the Return/Exchange Form (or include your return/exchange information as noted above) in the package with the merchandise you are returning.

    Step 3.
    Use our easy return label — found on your packing slip — to ship your package. It's pre-addressed and pre-paid. The return shipping and handling charges will be deducted from your refund. Please note that some heavier packages, items shipped directly from the manufacturer, or items shipped outside the continental United States do not include an easy return label.

    Simply attach the easy return label to your return package and give the package to your Postal Carrier or drop it off at any U.S. Post Office location — no need to stand in line!

    No additional postage required and no need to insure your package. It is already included.

    Alternative Option:
    At your own cost, you may also use the delivery service of your choice to return your order. To return your package on your own, insure the package for the full value of the merchandise and send it to:

  • We'll gladly provide an exchange or refund your purchase price (excluding discounts, and any shipping and handling charges) for items returned in their original condition within 90 days after your item is shipped. For products returned in original condition within 90 days of when they were shipped, refunds will be made in your original form of payment equal to your original purchase price (excluding discounts, and any shipping and handling charges). We cannot provide any refund or exchange for items returned more than 90 days after your item was shipped. Any merchandise not covered by this policy will clearly state the exemption on its product page located at Haband.com.

    The following policies may apply:
    • Unless defective or damaged in shipment, items marked with an "NR" in the catalog and on our website cannot be returned. These products include those such as perishable food and personal care items.
    • Return of larger items may be subject to a restocking, return delivery and/or shipping and handling charge, except where prohibited by law.

    Express Shipping

  • Currently Haband only ships within the 50 United States plus American Samoa, Micronesia, Guam, Marshall Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, Palau, Virgin Islands, Armed Forces America, Armed Forces Europe and Armed Forces Pacific.

  • Several items we carry are shipped directly from the manufacturer and not warehoused by Haband. These items may be subject to a 12% restocking fee by the manufacturer should they be returned.

    These orders — also called drop ship or direct-from-vendor orders — are shipped by standard shipping only. Drop ship items can only be shipped within the continental United States (no shipments to FPO, APO, P.O. Boxes or military bases). Please allow 2 to 4 weeks for delivery of drop ship items. See shipping details on product page for product specific delivery times.

    Please note: Some specially marked products may require additional delivery charges or an additional fee may be required for expedited delivery. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • No, Haband does not use down in ANY of its products. In fact, Haband has been recognized by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) as an industrial leader in terms of ethical retail.

  • To make your online shipping as convenient as possible, all items offered for sale via our magazine ads and mail order flyers are available online. There are also items that are exclusively on the Haband web site that you will not find in any of our direct mail or magazine ads.

  • Haband was founded in 1925 in Paterson, New Jersey by M. Habernickel Jr. and John Anderson and initially sold quality handmade ties at a few local banks. But once Habernickel got the bright idea to take photographs of the ties and mail those "advertisements" to banks far out of the reach of Habernickel and his bicycle, the business was off and running, operating exclusively through the U.S. Mail. It wasn't long before the family-owned business expanded its offerings to include a full line of casual and dress menswear. Eventually, Habernickel's son, Duke, had been given the reins as President of the company.

    As Haband continued to grow, a complete line of ladieswear fashions was developed, and later a full selection of gifts, gadgets, and products for the home was added as well. The company still operates through the mail but savings are now available online too. Today, Haband is the Headquarters for Savings to over 5 million customers. And even though you won't find any neckties in Haband's value-packed selection, the one thing you will always find is a Better Deal than you'll get anywhere else, guaranteed!

    What is the cost to be a VIP Plus Member?
    The first 30 days of your membership will be at the low introductory cost of $1.99. After your first 30 day trial, your membership will automatically continue for just $14.97 a month, and will be charged to the credit card you authorized when you enrolled. If you decide to not continue your membership after your 30 day trial, simply log onto www.habandvipplus.com/login or call 855-226-7051 to cancel. There is no obligation to continue. You may cancel at any time if you are not completely satisfied, and there will be no future charges.
