I've tried the Triple AAA and the Double AA and use them in battery operated candles, small calculators and several flashlights. The cost break down by making a bulk purchase is .46 (cents) a battery. Haband must have bought a cargo load since they are still available. These batteries are general purpose and if you need the extra oomph to run a battery operated device stick to the Dura-Cell or Ever-Ready brands. Once I have used the few I have left, I'm spending the extra money and will start using the Dura-Cell rechargable line of batteries. Sorry Duke, this is NOT Quality but Bulk and the consumer will be very disappointed unless used in children's toys. So my opinion is DON't BUY unless in a hurry.
