She's right, the tops do ravel BUT they are so darned comfortable that you'll tolerate it.

These are really inferior socks. The tops raveled during the first wearing, with elastic threads hanging down after 1 washing. The price is right, but the product is a complete waste of money. Avoid them! (Haband was very good about giving a refund after I returned them.)
