I have owned this heater for at least three years and it is in use as I write. I keep track of the kilowat hours it uses on my very handy electricity measuring instrument, KILL-A-WAT EZ, which has recorded the following data, since I plugged it into this heater. In this NW region of the good old US of A, where temperatures range from 0-to-35F degrees in the winter, where the electricity costs is 7.7 cents a kilowat hour. Over a period of 18.87 kilowat hours my bill was $1.45, for this heater. It has kept my 20x20ft family room and 10x12ft kitchen warm and cuddly, without due regard for winter temperatures. Fortunately in the Tacoma, Wa, area we don't suffer many such days. My son just told me of the many orders for this heater made by church members of the residents of the little town Republic, WA, located in the freezing snow bound Northeasr Washington,on the Canadian border where he is moving to in about twenty days. If I don't miss my guess, he will be getting this heater soon. It's a jewel. He told me he liked mine mine. If I didn''t say it already, I will. My wife and my cat,Spook(He wears a tuxedo to bed), both enjoy it also. Both sleep in this warm room, at times. Otherwise, we turn the heater off, having served its purpose. GORDON. DCCSP
