If you are one of those people that usually doesn't like your pants with pockets (these pants do have nice side pockets) "because they make me look fat," forget these! I don't think they actually make a person look any chubbier than usual, but the fabric IS double, so it IS fairly thick--and warm. No messing around with pants liners; I love these lined jeans! Get the right color and you can wear them everywhere. Good fit (I think--size 14A), they wash up well (MIGHT shrink a bit). Choose your size by your monthly max. These are NOT for hours outdoors in subzero like snowboarding or skiing, but will get you to the mailbox, across a parking lot or garage, and through other light outdoor activities comfortably; if you are turning down the thermostat in the house these would be perfect everyday attire. Sure beats those fleece things that make you look like a Teletubby....
