I have given these three stars because they may be satisfactory for some purchasers. However, they are not satisfactory for me. I have owned several pairs of Dr. Scholl's oxfords in recent years, and these don't match the comfortable shoes that I have owned in the past. The configuration of the leather is different from my older pairs, and the toe is rounder and narrower than the more square toe in my old pair. The metal plate in the heel has dug into my heel, creating a blister, even though I was wearing socks. I will be returning these and looking for comfortable shoes somewhere else.
