bowl are stainless however it contains only 5 bowls, haband counts the cheap lids as a piece, however the manufaturer labeled it as a 5 piece; the bowls are much smaller than they look in the ad, al in all a very deceptive sales trick by Hband, one wonders what other deceptive ploys the copany uses.
I purchased these bowls and was very disappointed. They were dinged up and very cheap.
