This was a big disappointment. Advertised as Extra Loud, it certainly is not. The sound from it, in fact, is so soft I consider it useless as an alarm clock. And to see the time in the dark, you must first press a button. This says it uses a C battery, but one will not fit in the clock and the directions with it call for one AA battery. Definitely cannot recommend this.
